Klein Buendel has been awarded a new research project as part of the National Cancer Institute’s Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot Initiative. The project, Sun Safe Workplaces-Technology (SSW-T) is being led by Dr. David Buller and Dr. Barbara Walkosz.

Sun Safe Workplaces: The Promotion of Occupational Sun Safety Policy

Workplaces provide promising venues for programs to prevent chronic disease and acute injury.  Recently, KB investigators, David Buller, Mary Buller, Rachel Eye and Barbara Walkosz, and colleagues published a paper in the American Journal of Health Promotion on the results of Sun Safe Workplaces, a program that promoted the adoption of occupational sun protection policies to government organizations in Colorado.
