Klein Buendel, Inc. has been selected once again as one of ColoradoBiz Magazine’s 2014 “Top 100 Woman-Owned Companies.”  KB, which was co-founded by Mary Buller and her former business partner, Aimee Giese, debuted on the list in 2005 in the 74th spot.

One year ago, Dr. Valerie Myers, a nationally recognized scientist specializing in the behavioral factors affecting obesity, weight loss and maintenance, joined the Klein Buendel, Inc. team.  A licensed psychologist, Dr. Myers previously served as an instructor and behavioral consultant at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, La. and as a clinical faculty instructor in the Department of Psychology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.

Conferences After the ‘Muffin Memo’

I just returned from the National Institutes of Health Regional Seminar for Program Funding and Grants Administration. This popular seminar, led by NIH and Health and Human Services experts, is intended to provide a nuts and bolts overview of research administration and compliance topics for extramural research administrators, students and investigators at all levels.  Although the program is geared towards university administrators, the topics are equally salient to a small business research organization such as Klein Buendel.
